Laura Boswell is one of our favourite printmakers for beautifully controlled colour, layered landscapes and a real sense of place. Her Scottish scenes are a particular draw for us. We love Scotland, so it did not take much for us to fall in love with her work.

There is so much to enjoy in the way she builds light, weather and distance through a print. If you are interested in reduction lino printing, colour layers and how a landscape can be translated into carved shapes, Laura is a must-follow.

Hally & Christy Prints create phenomenal work, especially when it comes to multi-block printmaking. Their prints are full of character, with thoughtful colour choices and the sort of registration that makes you look twice.

They also used our colour registration pins to create Boots & Badge, an unbelievable print featuring a crow in a poncho and cowboy boots. It is made using three hand-carved blocks, with a hand-embossed star badge as the finishing touch. Go and have a look at their work — and buy a print if you can.
