Monoprinting & Illustration
The 1st design shown was produced using 2 methods. The initial design was created using monoprinting, then finished with watercolours. The watercolour complimented the design quite well, capturing the atmosphere of the original photo. The photo was taken during 1 of the 2 wars between Chechnya and Russia in the 90’s.
The second design shown is an illustration of the same photo. This was going to be used later on in a screen print, however the final layers are still being finished.
