Incredible customer support! I ordered registration pins & tabs. The tabs are thick and really nice while the pins are strong, but elegantly thin and crafted really well. I’m thrilled to have them in my toolkit.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Hickman Design has a fantastic range of printmaking supplies, and I was delighted with the quality of the Essdee lino sheets and Japanese rubber brayer I ordered.
The service was incredibly speedy, delivery was quick, and everything was carefully packaged with obvious care and attention. It’s always lovely to support a business that clearly values both its products and its customers.
As someone rediscovering printmaking, I really appreciated being able to find quality materials in one place. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back for future supplies.

I found Hickman Designs via another printmaker online as they mentioned a new sharpening tool set they had discovered. I was fed up with paying to have my tools sharpened and as she mentioned she had purchased the EZ Care set from Hickman who were new to me I clicked on their website. Whilst ordering the sharpening set I found an amazing pair of Skull Scissors which I had to have along with some Cranfield safe wash printing ink. Hickson delivered free and quickly and I was really pleased with how the sharpening set worked especially as it will save me money. Will definitely use Hickman Designs again.

Cyan Process Blue – Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 75ml
Cyan Process Blue is a vibrant, clean blue developed for colour printmaking and layered printing techniques. It forms one of the primary colours used in process printing and works exceptionally well when combined with magenta and yellow inks.
The Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash formula provides the richness and working time of a traditional oil-based ink but removes easily with soap and water. This makes it ideal for studios where safer and simpler cleanup is preferred.
The ink rolls out smoothly and maintains a consistent film across printing plates or blocks. Its strong pigmentation ensures bright colour reproduction and reliable coverage in multi-layer prints.
Presented in a 75ml tube, Cyan Process Blue offers a practical quantity for artists experimenting with colour separation techniques or building a balanced printmaking palette.
