I found Hickman Designs via another printmaker online as they mentioned a new sharpening tool set they had discovered. I was fed up with paying to have my tools sharpened and as she mentioned she had purchased the EZ Care set from Hickman who were new to me I clicked on their website. Whilst ordering the sharpening set I found an amazing pair of Skull Scissors which I had to have along with some Cranfield safe wash printing ink. Hickson delivered free and quickly and I was really pleased with how the sharpening set worked especially as it will save me money. Will definitely use Hickman Designs again.

Cranfield – Caligo – Safe Wash Relief Lino Printing Ink – 75ml Tube – Soft Pink (75 ml) is an oil-based relief ink that washes away with soap and water in Caligo – Safe Wash Relief Lino Printing Ink – 75ml Tube – Soft Pink. Developed by Cranfield under the Caligo name, it brings strong colour, smooth roll-up and a low-solvent workflow to relief print studios.
The body rolls evenly through the roller, forming a consistent film that releases cleanly to common fine-art papers.
Water-washable convenience simplifies studio practice and cuts down on consumables. Drying is oxidative; proof on your chosen stock to gauge timing before running a full edition.
Suited to detailed linework, flat tints and multi-colour separations on paper.
