Incredible customer support! I ordered registration pins & tabs. The tabs are thick and really nice while the pins are strong, but elegantly thin and crafted really well. I’m thrilled to have them in my toolkit.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Hickman Design has a fantastic range of printmaking supplies, and I was delighted with the quality of the Essdee lino sheets and Japanese rubber brayer I ordered.
The service was incredibly speedy, delivery was quick, and everything was carefully packaged with obvious care and attention. It’s always lovely to support a business that clearly values both its products and its customers.
As someone rediscovering printmaking, I really appreciated being able to find quality materials in one place. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back for future supplies.

I found Hickman Designs via another printmaker online as they mentioned a new sharpening tool set they had discovered. I was fed up with paying to have my tools sharpened and as she mentioned she had purchased the EZ Care set from Hickman who were new to me I clicked on their website. Whilst ordering the sharpening set I found an amazing pair of Skull Scissors which I had to have along with some Cranfield safe wash printing ink. Hickson delivered free and quickly and I was really pleased with how the sharpening set worked especially as it will save me money. Will definitely use Hickman Designs again.

Cranfield – Caligo – Safe Wash Relief Lino Printing Ink – 75ml Tube – Prussian Blue (75 ml) is an oil-based relief ink that washes away with soap and water in Caligo – Safe Wash Relief Lino Printing Ink – 75ml Tube – Prussian Blue. Developed by Cranfield under the Caligo name, it brings strong colour, smooth roll-up and a low-solvent workflow to relief print studios.
Controlled tack supports crisp edges and helps reduce set-off, while open time allows measured pacing between passes.
At the end of the session, tools and rollers clean with soap and water — no dedicated solvents required for routine maintenance. As with most oil-based inks, curing depends on paper, film thickness and conditions — test timings during setup.
Use for linocut, woodcut and letterpress on paper and card.
