Sepia – Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 75ml
Sepia ink provides a warm brown tone reminiscent of historical drawings and antique prints. It is particularly well suited to portraiture, landscapes and illustrative work where a softer tonal range is preferred over stark black.
Part of the Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash series, this ink delivers professional oil-based performance while allowing cleanup with ordinary soap and water. The formulation retains excellent working time and print clarity.
The colour produces smooth, even coverage and wipes well during etching processes. In relief printing it rolls evenly and prints consistently across a wide range of papers.
The compact 75ml tube makes Sepia a convenient addition to a printmaker’s palette, providing a distinctive colour that complements traditional and contemporary prints alike.
