Naphthol Red – Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 75ml

Naphthol Red is a vibrant, warm red that adds intensity and brightness to colour prints. The pigment produces strong impressions and works well as a primary colour within layered printmaking techniques.

As part of the Caligo Safe Wash system, the ink behaves like a traditional oil-based printmaking ink but can be cleaned away with soap and water. This simplifies studio cleanup while maintaining professional performance.

The ink has a balanced viscosity that allows easy rolling, wiping and printing across a variety of surfaces. Its strong pigmentation ensures consistent colour even when printing multiple impressions.

The 75ml tube format makes it ideal for both experimentation and edition printing, giving artists a dependable red within their printmaking palette.
