Product details.
Turn a small design into a personal note or miniature artwork. These Fabriano Medioevalis single cards are flat cards, with no fold, supplied with matching envelopes. Their compact size works well for a short message, a carved stamp or a small illustration that you want to give someone.
The ivory 260 gsm card is made in Italy using a cylinder mould process. An acid-free sheet, gentle texture and deckle edges give your work a decorative setting while leaving you free to choose a simple or more colourful design.
Size and pack contents
- Cards: 20 flat blank cards, each 85 × 130 mm, 260 gsm.
- Envelopes: 20 matching unlined envelopes, each 90 × 140 mm, 120 gsm.
- Format: a single flat panel; there is no folded inside.
Here, “single card” describes the format, rather than the quantity: you receive 20 cards and 20 envelopes in this pack.
Small projects with plenty of possibilities
- Thank-you notes: stamp a small flower or initial above a few handwritten lines.
- Miniature art prints: make a small linocut, screen print or watercolour to send as a keepsake.
- RSVP replies: leave space for names and a response beneath your event lettering or decorative motif.
Planning your design
Use a paper template to check the space needed for both the image and the message. Leave a border so the deckle edges remain visible. If you plan to write on the reverse, let the artwork dry first and support the card on a clean surface. Test fine lettering, ink coverage and drying time on a spare card before making a batch.
For a greeting with a separate inside message, choose the small folded Medioevalis cards, which finish at the same 85 × 130 mm size.
