White acrylic ink for screen printing
The 32 fl oz container of Speedball White Acrylic Screen Printing Ink is a larger format for studios that use white across repeated screen-printing projects. Choose it when you are planning several sessions, developing an edition or keeping a regular supply of white alongside other acrylic screen colours. This listing supplies one container of White ink.
Build a consistent paper-printing setup
Make a reference impression on the actual paper or card before beginning a series. Assess how the white sits against the background once dry, then use that sample to check the following prints. Keeping the stencil placement and printing method consistent makes differences easier to spot. If you are planning a layered composition, test the colour order on a spare sheet before committing to the full run or preparing additional stencils.
Paper, wood and cardboard
This water-based ink is formulated for use with a screen and squeegee. Speedball lists paper, wood and cardboard as suitable surfaces. It is not intended for washfast fabric printing. For changes in consistency, use an appropriate screen-printing modifier rather than adding water.
For help choosing between paper and textile inks, read our screen printing inks and mediums guide.
Colour and studio care
Speedball rates White as Excellent for lightfastness, and the Acrylic Screen Printing Ink range is listed with ACMI AP certification. Clean ink from the screen and tools with soap and water before it dries, and follow the directions supplied with the ink.
Choose the container size
The larger size suits a worktable where white is a recurring part of the palette. Choose the 8 fl oz jar if you want less ink for a smaller project. The number of prints from a container varies with the design, printed area and screen-printing technique.
