CARVY – Lino & Wood Carving Knife
The CARVY Lino & Wood Carving Knife Sets are thoughtfully designed carving tools that balance sharp performance, durability, and ease of use. Made with double-layer steel construction, each blade is fully sharpened and ready to use, offering a crisp, responsive cut that makes carving both lino and wood feel controlled and satisfying from the very first pass.
At the core of each tool is a Blue Paper Steel No.2 cutting edge, laminated with steel to provide a strong yet forgiving blade. This traditional Japanese steel is known for its ability to take a keen edge while remaining durable under regular use. With proper care and occasional sharpening, these knives can be used reliably for many years, making them an excellent long-term investment rather than a disposable starter tool.
The birch wood handles are shaped for comfort and stability, with a total tool length of approximately 170–175mm and a handle length of around 145mm. This size makes the tools easy to control, particularly for beginners or younger users, while still offering enough leverage and precision for more detailed carving work. Each blade also comes with a protective cutting edge cap, helping to keep hands safe and edges protected when not in use.
