Essdee Softcut Lino – Easy Carve Lino Block Sheets – 210×150 (pack 10)

Essdee Softcut Lino – Easy Carve Lino Block Sheets – 210×150 (pack 10) brings a reliable, easy-cut feel to your studio. This Softcut block supports crisp impressions and tidy edges.

The surface offers low resistance under the gouge, helping you maintain steady pressure through long curves and tight corners. A consistent density across the plate minimises chatter and keeps fine details intact, even in delicate cross-hatching.

It rolls up evenly with a brayer and releases cleanly to a range of papers from lightweight washi to heavier cartridge. Inking is straightforward and repeatable, supporting quick proofs and full print runs alike.

It suits mark-making exercises for beginners as well as intricate plates for experienced printmakers. Use it for class demonstrations, small editions, greeting cards, or to prototype reduction sequences. Pairs well with both V- and U-gouges, supporting crisp outlines and broad clears.
