I found Hickman Designs via another printmaker online as they mentioned a new sharpening tool set they had discovered. I was fed up with paying to have my tools sharpened and as she mentioned she had purchased the EZ Care set from Hickman who were new to me I clicked on their website. Whilst ordering the sharpening set I found an amazing pair of Skull Scissors which I had to have along with some Cranfield safe wash printing ink. Hickson delivered free and quickly and I was really pleased with how the sharpening set worked especially as it will save me money. Will definitely use Hickman Designs again.

Essdee – Mounted Lino Printing Blocks – 200x150x3.2mm features 3.2 mm lino mounted on 18 mm MDF fibreboard in 3.2mm. This solid, pre-mounted design prevents warping and keeps the surface perfectly level, giving consistent registration and cleaner impressions.
Each pass of the gouge feels controlled and predictable, making it easy to form clean lines and subtle textures. The sturdy mount eliminates curl, so the block stays flat throughout carving, inking and pressing.
Ink transfers cleanly, giving balanced coverage on a variety of printmaking papers. An ideal choice for artists, students and teachers seeking a reliable, ready-to-use block.
