Discover barens for transferring relief prints to paper by hand. Our Japanese printmaking range includes 10cm and 12cm bamboo barens, a 12cm plastic baren, a compact 10cm budget baren and the 13cm Michihamono Sosaku bamboo baren. Compare sizes and materials to find a tool suited to your blocks and printing paper.
The Sosaku range offers Sumi and Beta options for different printing needs, while the smaller bamboo and budget barens provide accessible choices for compact prints and hand proofing. A baren lets you apply pressure across an inked block without a printing press, making it a useful addition to a home studio, workshop or woodblock printing setup.
