Argeli fibre is also used in traditional Japanese papermaking where it is known as\u00a0mitsumata<\/strong>, valued for its smooth texture and refined surface. Both fibres are fully renewable, as the plants are cropped above ground level and naturally regenerate, allowing re-harvesting every three to four years.<\/p>\n Khadi mountain papers are uniquely produced using\u00a0soda ash rather than caustic soda<\/strong>, preserving fibre strength and resulting in a more durable and higher-quality sheet than most modern Nepalese papers.
