Choose the VersaCraft White large ink pad to explore white stamping within your paper and fabric craft projects. This individual colour is a useful addition when you want to compare a white impression with the stronger colours already in your palette. It invites experiments with simple motifs, decorative borders and hand-carved shapes, with the material beneath the stamp playing an important part in the result.

Start with scraps of the papers or fabrics you intend to use and compare the dried impressions before selecting a background. Contrast and coverage can vary, so a small test is more useful than assuming every surface will give the same result. Try snowflake or star motifs for a seasonal card, a border of simple dots or a repeated geometric design. Leave room around the shapes and compare a sparse arrangement with a closer repeat to choose the effect you prefer.

Lightly ink the stamp, make a trial impression and check that the whole design has received ink. Work on a stable surface and lift the stamp without rocking it. Let the impression dry before handling the printed area. Keep your background samples with the finished swatch so you can return to a successful combination later. A note about the material and your stamping method makes the sample especially useful for repeat projects.

VersaCraft is a water-based pigment ink. When stamping fabric, heat-set with an iron and a pressing cloth, following the fabric care label and the manufacturer’s instructions. Wash resistance varies with the fabric and the heat-setting procedure. Test before decorating the finished item.
